3 Ways to Use AI to Promote Your Personal Brand

Building a strong personal brand is essential for standing out in a crowded market, but it takes time that busy entrepreneurs don’t have. That’s where AI can help promote your personal brand. AI can help you define your brand voice and adopt your style. It can generate outlines or rough drafts for articles, social posts, and website copy and ensure consistency across the platforms you use. Let AI do the heavy lifting and save your bandwidth for what really matters — connecting the human side of your business with your audience.

Here are a few ways I like to use AI technology to define and grow my brand.

Define and Refine Your Brand Voice

Your brand voice is what connects you to your audience. It’s uniquely you and is reflected in the words you use, your tone, colors, and style. AI tools, like ChatGPT, Jasper, and Claude, can help you refine and maintain your voice by adopting your persona and style. With a new business, you can prompt AI to help you create your voice. Or, if you have an established brand voice, you can use previous content to train AI to use and refine your voice as your brand grows.

Rebranding or creating a new personal brand? Start here.

Let AI know who you are and who your audience is. Provide a detailed prompt or sample that reflects your tone, values, and audience, and ask AI to adopt this voice. Here’s an example using Wise Whisper Agency:

  • Describe yourself: “I am an ambitious female entrepreneur who leads with humor and humility to help high-achieving professionals write powerful keynote and TEDx talks.”
  • Define your audience: “My audience includes high-achieving male and female entrepreneurs and C-suite professionals who have a bold message to tell and value honesty, integrity, and humor.”

Already have a brand voice? Start here.

Use AI-powered tools to analyze your past content. Ask AI to identify consistent tones and styles from previous blogs, speeches, social posts, and emails. Use these insights to help refine your voice so your messaging feels cohesive and authentic.

Once the AI understands your persona, you can ask it to mimic this tone in your content. With practice, ChatGPT, Jasper, or Claude will learn to craft copy that sounds authentically “you.”

Write and Repurpose Articles into Social Magnets

Once AI adopts your voice, use it to help draft articles, social posts, and other content. AI is a tool…it helps get words on paper so you can add the human touch.

Let’s say you’re writing an article titled 3 Tips to Attract Paid Speaking Opportunities — you can ask AI for a list of three actionable tips. From there, you add your insights, polish the language, and make it your own.

One of the ways I use AI most is to break through writer’s block. I ask AI to brainstorm ideas, create outlines, or generate content calendars for the next three months. This frees me up to focus on my zone of genius over staring at a blank page.

Another powerful way to use AI is to repurpose content. Use your keynote or TEDx talk to create social posts to spread your message and direct your audience to your talk on YouTube. AI can analyze the transcript and pull out quotes, summarize key points, and suggest hashtags.

This way, your content can reach a wider audience across multiple platforms with minimal effort.

Keep Your Content Consistent Across Channels

One of the biggest challenges in building a personal brand is ensuring your voice carries across all the platforms you use. AI can ensure your tone, key messaging, and visuals align. Just like you used your content to train AI to use your voice, you can test for consistency.  Input articles and posts and ask AI to check for brand consistency.

AI is a tool that can help anyone amplify their personal brand. Whether you’re using it to refine your voice, create content, or scale your marketing efforts, AI makes building a personal brand more efficient and effective. The key is to approach it as a collaborator, not a replacement for your unique personality and vision.

Pro Tip: Regularly refine your prompts and share feedback with the AI on what works best. The more precise you are, the better the results will be. And be sure to test content across all your platforms to see what resonates most.
